2017 | SNOLAB | Sudbury, ON, Canada |

Event Overview

Partners in Research Live Webcast:  Join SNOLAB Research Scientist Dr. Chris Jillings for a live webcast about the dark matter research he is  conducting at SNOLAB. Get your questions ready!

Why do we think we can’t see most of the universe? How do you build an experiment to measure something no one has seen before? If you do see something, how do you know that what you have seen is dark matter? Join us to learn the answer to these questions – and your own questions – LIVE!

This webinar is intended for grades 7-12 and the duration will be approximately 30 minutes.

SNOLAB is an underground science laboratory specializing in neutrino and dark matter physics located 2 km below the surface in the Vale Creighton Mine near Sudbury Ontario Canada.
