Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Fermilab’s “Lab G,” which hosts a variety of cool scientific equipment and a cleanroom that will be used for the SuperCDMS experiment. This next-generation experiment will search for dark matter candidates called WIMPs. SuperCDMS stands for the Super Cryogenic Dark Matter Experiment – and scientists will be on hand to give an overview of the project, the hunt for dark matter, and the lab itself. Join the conversation on Fermilab’s Facebook page and tune into the Facebook Live (Oct. 31, 10am Central) to get the answers to all of your dark matter questions.
